Terms of Use

These terms explain the ground rules for using I Suck at Names and its optional Premium subscription.

Using the app

You may use I Suck at Names for lawful, personal purposes. You are responsible for the information you save, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for respecting the privacy and rights of other people.

Your content

You retain ownership of the notes, photos, and other content you add. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, process, sync, and display that content so we can provide the app. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

AI-assisted features

Transcription, organization, search, and suggested connections can make mistakes. Review names, facts, relationships, and photos before relying on or saving them. The app is a memory aid, not a source of verified identity information.

Free and Premium plans

The free plan allows up to 15 saved people. Premium currently offers unlimited person cards and cloud synchronization for $1.99 per month, subject to the price displayed by Apple at purchase time. Features and limits may change, but changes will not reduce a paid subscription period already purchased.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed through your Apple Account. Payment is charged after you confirm purchase. It renews automatically unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple subscription settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app. If Premium is active, deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing through Apple; manage the subscription separately before deletion. Account deletion is permanent and may make saved information unrecoverable.

Availability and acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use the app to violate law or another person’s rights. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with law.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Apple terms

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms control.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. Questions can be sent to support@isuckatnames.com.
